4.3 – Exercise 5: Line Analysis

Ex. 5 – In this example, we again have two eighth notes side by side, just like in Example 3.
But this time, we’ll leave them as they are and insert a triplet right after.
For this technique to work, we need to add two extra notes,
so I placed them right before the repeated notes come back on beat 3, and once more before beat 1.

There’s no rule that you have to do it this way, it just felt like the most natural spot for me.
