1.6 Backing Track – Week 6
This week, we’re working with Ex. 3 from Lesson 1.
The tempo climbs from 120 bpm to 160 bpm, so stay relaxed and focused as it speeds up.
Play with dynamics if you can, but above all, keep the groove steady from start to finish.
If the full two-handed version feels too difficult at this speed, spend the entire week practicing the right hand only.
What Happens After Week 6?
By then, you’ve likely finished the entire module.
From there, you move on to Module 5.
If there’s still more ground to cover, go back to the Week 4 backing track.
The tempo there is slower (100–140 bpm), and you can decide which exercise to play over it.
For example, if Ex. 3 was too fast to play with both hands this week,
bring it back to the Week 4 backing-track and keep refining it there.
