The site got smaller and better.
If you’ve been following along for a while,
you know I’ve been working toward this for years.
Remaking lessons, rebuilding modules, slowly getting rid of everything old.
Yesterday, I finished that job.
If you logged in recently and noticed lessons missing, here’s what happened.
What I removed and why
The old modules from Module 6 to 14 had two kinds of lessons.
The first kind were my earliest recordings: no mic, dark room, blurry piano.

I kept them for years because deleting them felt wrong.
But most of those concepts are already taught better in Modules 1 to 5.
Keeping them didn’t help you.
It just cluttered the path.
The second kind were genuinely good lessons.
I collected 90 of the best ones and gave them a proper home: the Practice Vault.
Blues etudes, scale exercises, comping patterns, pop arrangements.
71 are clean and well-recorded.
The other 19 were shot on a GoPro, so they look older,
but those lessons are solid advanced blues content.
(Those 19 are the only old-looking lessons that survived the cleanup.)
The Vault unlocks when you complete Module 5.
The Blues Trilogy is now complete.

Module 5 is live. That means the Blues Trilogy is now a complete path.
Someone who has never touched a piano can start at Module 1,
and follow it all the way through to improvising freely
with the right hand while the left hand holds the groove,
sounding tastefully bluesy at an intermediate level. Every step is there.
I’m genuinely curious what you’re going to do with this.
I want to hear you play.
The 12-Month Jazz Piano Accelerator
The 12-Month Jazz Piano Accelerator is 320 lessons across 12 months.
It starts with the 179 lessons from Modules 15 to 21,
all fully revised with proper descriptions,
full theory, and hundreds of new visual images.

But I always felt those lessons were missing something.
Teaching you voicings, scales, bebop,
and then asking you to apply it to jazz standards on your own
is not a complete course.
So I took every concept and did that work myself,
applying it all to real jazz standards.
That added 141 lessons. Now it goes all the way.
Here’s where it stands right now:
179 lessons are fully filmed.
The 141 standards lessons currently have the sheet music,
with video added every month until it’s complete.
I decided to release it now and build it openly rather than keep it closed for another six to eight months.
If you need video for everything before you start, come back in a few months.
If sheet music works for you,
you have everything you need.
Lessons unlock one month at a time.
Month 1 & 2 unlock on day 1 (about 50 lessons).
Month 3 unlocks on day 28.
Month 4 unlocks on day 56.
Worth knowing:
the clock starts on enrollment day, not when you first open the course.
If you’ve been working through the blues modules first,
you may already have several months unlocked by the time you get here.
If you’re on the blues path, stay on it.
The Jazz Accelerator isn’t going anywhere.
With Love,
David
